MAISON DU BOUTIS - MUSÉE DE CALVISSON

The Quilt House (Maison du Boutis), is located in the Calvisson plain Vaunage, near Nîmes in the Gard (France. It presents a unique collection of old quilts in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
Following the expansion of the collection, the museum presents a collection of embroidered wedding quilts. Also, after its exhibition in London and Florence, the Quilt House's medieval "Tristan Quilt" is back in Calvisson. It will be on display at the Quilt House for some time, though it will eventually tour America and Japan.
