Mike graduated from Michigan State University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Arts and Technology and a specialization in Documentary Studies. He has worked in the Digital Lab at MATRIX for the past 4 years. He first worked as a student employee before being hired on as a full time staff member. His work consists of digitizing video and audio media from analog formats and preparing it for online display, producing videos for online Anthropology and History classes, and maintaining various other projects coming in and out of the Digital Lab and the MATRIX Production Studio. Mike has visited Dakar in order to work with UCAD students on doing 3D capture on artifacts from the Gorée Isalnd archaeological collection. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at Creighton University.
